Bryan Quang Le, mostly known as Ricegum or Rice, is an American Entertainer/Youtuber who was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 19th, 1996. Bryan has about 9.2 million subscribers as of today and 1.5 billion views on his channel.
Ricegum bursted on the scene with his hit song “It’s Everynight Sis” which disses another fellow youtuber Jake Paul and now has over 130 million views.Bryan started his youtube channel on September 24, 2012 by playing different games such as Call of Duty. Ricegum had success as a gaming channel earning over 100,000 subscribers as well as having a large twitch stream following. He started going viral when he made a series called “These kids must be stopped” which poked fun at an app called Music.ly in which kids would make videos by lip syncing words to a song and gain millions of followers for having little talent. Around the same time, Ricegum started making music which gained a large following as well.Ricegum has a partnership with youtube in which each video he uploads, he gets paid by advertisements for putting there ads in his videos.
From youtube alone, his monthly earnings range from around 20k to 170k which isn’t including his merchandise store and his music sold on apple music and spotify. Within this past year, Youtube has a type of ad pocalypse in which certain companies are pulling there ads away from Youtube because of the family friendly content. This did not hurt Ricegum very badly because of the popularity and money he was already bringing in but it did hurt smaller youtubers because they could not continue doing youtube with such little income.Bryan now lives in Los Angeles with fellow very popular social media people such as Sommer Ray, Faze Banks, and Ugly God. They all live in a very expensive with house that costs around 12.5 million dollars.
Bryan continues to grow in subscribers by making all sorts of different content such as skits and vlogs to go with his main focus on music.
