Absenteeism is the absence of an employee from work. It is a major problem faced by almost all employers of today. The main objective of the study is to analyze absenteeism of employees at Tafe reach ltd and to study the factors that lead to absenteeism . for the purpose of the study primary data has been collected by distributing a well structured questionnaire to the employees of Tafe reach ltd, the sample size being 50. The statistical tools used in the study are percentage analysis weighted average and chi- square test Major findings: Majority of them find their job interesting. * Majority of the respondents are satisfied with pay package and superior-subordinate relationship * Majority of the employees avail leave for family problems.

* Majority of the respondents feel that the most important factor which motivate them to be regular to work is superior subordinate relationship and the least motivating factors is welfare facilities. There is no significant relationship between the age group and availing of casual leave at 1% level of significance and there is significant relationship between the age group and availing of casual leave at 5% level of significance. From the research we can understand that absenteeism at Tafe reach ltd is less because the employees are satisfied with the work environment such as superior – subordinate relationship, pay package and safety measures adopts by the company.
